History of Trailer Trash TV
Scott Jameson has been a Community Access TV Producer since 1991, producing or co-producing everything from various local music programs to numerous pro wrestling endeavors (and aiding in virtually every type of production in-between...)
He is an award-winning producer for his uniquely entertaining "Trailer Trash TV", and was fortunate enough to be a speaker at the ACM (Alliance for Community Media) Midwest Regional Conference in 2004.
The actual idea for "Trailer Trash TV" came about when Scott (a.k.a.-Scotty J) was a manager for TITLE WAVE MUSIC & VIDEO.
Everyone in the video dept. had a knowledge of a particular "Genre". Scotty's area was B-movies and cult films. B-movies are those produced by an independent film company or low budget film producers. Ed Wood & Roger Corman are fine examples.
Scotty started putting his idea for "Trailer Trash TV" to paper and called numerous video distributors in early 1997 to get the work in motion.
After running into numerous BRICK WALLS of red tape, due to copyright laws, he found PUBLIC DOMAIN companies. Scott then acquired movie trailers, classic commercials, and vintage classroom education films, after the 1st 2 seasons of showing strictly trailers. Scott was well on his way, starting a new, different, and innovative program that was uniquely different from the usual public access programming.
His show has a tremendous CULT FOLLOWING in the Minneapolis area, North Dakota, Wisconsin & Northern Minnesota, as well as the East Coast. "Trailer Trash TV" reached stratospheric heights in 2007 with the Launch of "Trailer Trash TV 24/7", The Birth of FULL-LENGTH Episodes of "Trailer Trash TV" in CYBERSPACE! Scotty is in production for his 10th Anniversary Season with no end to the "cinematic madness" in sight!
